Daily Entry

June 10, 2000

Today is the day when officially NATO bombing stopped one year ago.

The day is not much different than it was a year ago though it is really hot and peaceful.

NATO actions stopped at 10:30 PM on 9th of June. Since then lot of things happened...

The days pass quickly real fast and not many people realized that already a whole year has passed since silence "occurred" here.

That is why there are a lot of things going on here in political circles and so many things have gotten worse, so one can't think about the things that have occurred in the past.

Maybe that is the reason why this year gone by so fast...maybe not. It depends upon the person itself.

To me it was a year of lot of thinking and realizing that some men have the power to decide to pull the strings in their hands not realizing how big their power actually IS.

On the other hand you must decide what has the major priority in your life and what is important and what is not. You come to a point when you wake up and know that most things, all the precious things, have become a paper in the fire...things that you either do not need or want. But it is true that small things keep the life and life IS consisted of them.

But what would you do if you did not have anyone to share them with...?

So I guess that in all the negativity and all the bad things that have happened those days brought a lot of learning and self-examination.

Then, on the other side there is a majority of people who just want to forget what has happened and are trying to lead a normal way of life.

The right way is in the one who leads his own life. There is not a way to say so.

I think about the sky. How it is the same as always how it should be. I think how it was and how every plane mark leaves it's pattern on the sky.

I think about the planes that you can see not HEAR because those whom you can't see are usually the army ones, usually the ones which I hope will not return.

How is life here nowadays? Like it has stopped. Like it is just the beginning of the end of bombing. More promises, more lies, more never-ending speeches, more and more faces without sincerity in their eyes.

What next? I guess that no one cares.

As for me my side is with the OTPOR organization a small group but with smart, bright NEW ideas and actions.

I wait for elections thought I do not believe that they will be led regularly.

It is hot here, every day we stayed out of water due to unfair restrictions. It is just a game between the local authorities and political parties.

It is a year 2000. Doors to 21st century Yugoslavia stand in front of those doors but we do not have a key for it, so the doors remain closed, sealed for us.
